67 year old lad wins his opening match in the UK Open of darts.
An Italian waiter who started playing when he was 30.
With a couple of legs to go he was on 241 with the other lad on a finish. Scored a 180 then 61 in two darts. This totally destroyed his opponent who played pish in the last leg.
By any standard it was a great sporting moment and a pleasure to watch. The old fella will dine on this for the rest of his life.

It's a once a year thing for me but it does tend to captivate the regulars when the finals of the PDC championship thing is on in the pub.
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

I don't really watch it, per se. Unless it is a big game.
I put it on in the background when I am having a wee apple and posting on the interweb.
Then if summat interesting happens I watch it.
It's sort of wallpaper / sport / tv.
