    When I get back?

While I was in Sorrento, I got a pretty gorgeous chessboard and piece set (Cant give photos ATM - Its wrapped in three layers of paper until I get back home) which Ill be taking with me to uni.

But thats a few months away, and I wouldnt mind a game on it when I get back

So any chess players here fancy a game when Im back in Blighty?

It's a bit quiet in the lounge at the moment, only you and me here it seems.

Did you get to visit the little town of Vinci while you were in the Lucca region? It is about half way between Lucca and Florence, but not on a direct route. The Leonardo museum is well worth a visit (allow at least 2 hours) but I don't suppose your itenerary for the trip north allows time.

    No chess I'm afraid.

    Pity, you missed a treat.

They've done their best to actually make "working" models of a lot of his drawings.
