Depends how boring the interweb is.
Wrt work type work, I do it til I finish - never really thought of taking prescribed breaks.

I skin up every half hour or so
I take breaks normally every hour. It's funny though, when I had dial-up all my Internet activity was at night, now that I have broadband, I'm most active during the day.

Sometimes I've taken breaks from it that lasted for weeks, sometimes I've sat in front of it for sixteen hours straight.
These days I can't be bothered to stay in front of it for too long.
