Ive noticed games like GTA SA and battlefield 2 on my 19 inch monitor only fill up half of the screen. with my new graphics card radoen 700 XT PCI express

what settings do i have to use to fill up the entire screen?? it must be something simple but only seen it do it for those 2 later games ther sides have black bars at the sides if you know what i mean

i have teh latest Catylist drivers too im only just new to PC gaming the last few months

well the resolution should minimally be the resolution of your desktop, but if you want a more graphical expirence you should raise it. maybe raising the resolution higher than your desktop may remove the bars and fill the monitor.

if it's an LCD you have to resize to max resolution or i think maybe you can get away with a fraction (800x600<1600x1200) not sure though. on a CRT change settings using the front panel. it shouldn't intefere with other games either
