If you have XP, have seperate users setup (and yours has a password), and your harddrive is formatted with NTFS, then you can right click on a file or folder => go to properties => click advanced => then click 'encrypt contents to secure data'

That makes it so other user accounts can't open those files or folders.

You can also just Hide them amost the same way:
Right click on a file or folder, Click on Properties, then check the Hidden Box.

    WHAT'S WITH THE CAPS?

If the file name is green then it is encrypted.

To test you have to log into another account and try to open the file.
