Why is it then when i'm downloading, it suddenly tells me that i have run out of disk space (showing up that disk cleanup dialog)....I go check my harkd disk space thru my computer => c drive => properties and it says i still have 14 gigs free!!!

what?!! the problem is that when that happens, the status of my file being downloaded is changed to "Failed", which means i have to start over again (but I make backups so that's ok) but each time i resume....it continues for a bit then the same thing happens?!

I have PLENTY of disk space left...what's wrong?

    Thanks

You need to run a DISK CLEANUP and SCANDISK

The amount of free space reported by windows becomes ever-more-inaccurate (usually much higher than the ACTUAL amount) the longer you run Kazaa Lite++

    Defragging couldn't hurt, either.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
    so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

Out of memory means your internal memory (RAM), not your external memory (harddisk).

Try sotring out what you dont need running in the background
    As Paul said its RAM
The error I am getting is "running low on disk space"
    Thats because I have none.

I'm still trying to figure out why you listed "Out Of Memory", yet speak of out of disk space

Are you using XP, multiple partitions? Id so perhaps checking your Restore Point Storage use. XP reserves somewhere between 2 - 2.5GB on each for restore points.

Other than that if it relates directy to memory, perhaps you have a memory leak. Try a memory leak retriever, NitroRam comes to mind, not bad program.

His error message box is definately referring to hard disk space.

Try doing a virus scan. You could have a 'stealth virus' that will fool windows into incorrect disk space.
