I'm trying to convert my Naruto episodes to mpeg to save space and get them onto a DVD, but TMPG Enc says that the video type isn't supported. If I load it as the source for the audio it doesn't give me any errors.

Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

try this in tmpgenc: go to options, then click environmental settings. then on the vfapi plugin tab right click 'directshow multimedia file reader' and choose higher priority. set the priority to 4 or something.

Thanks, it worked. I don't understand why it worked, but it did.

I really hate to say this but, this is an old problem try the search function next time (tmpgenc xvid divx) it works great. You will very surprised at all the old info .My favourite saying "if you had the problem, someone else has also"
