Thread: What is a bottleneck in a network?

    Can someone tell me what it is? I tried google, but it talks about the computer system, not a network
    Changed SPAN settings in sig a YEAR after it was removed

    it would be a part of the network that causes a slow down. example would be a 10mbps switch in a network of 100mbps routers. the traffic would have to slow down to get through that switch, which is 1/10 the speed of the other hardware.

    oh ok cool.

    i got an assignment where I have to extend an exsistning network in my college.
    Changed SPAN settings in sig a YEAR after it was removed

    i think that kinda differs per network....... altough there prolly are some things you could point out as most likely......... i cant do that for you since i dont know
