I was wondering what's a good piece of software for making music videos? I've been interested in making them just as a hobby-thing, but i'm gonna take media studies in college anyway so i figure i might as well get it.
Btw, cost is pretty much no problem, if you know what i mean

Go for Adobe Premiere 
Pretty easy to use and freely available from the right sources. It's pretty good for matching video clips up to music and sound clips as it represents these as a graphical waveform so you know which bit you're dealing with.
