media player classic - sound loss

recently when i play real media files in media player classic, the 'wave' volume in my volume control panel gets set to zero automatically.

solution to this? or is it just a strange quirk i have to deal with?

I think I've had same kin of quirks too, some levels moving without my doing.

Re-installing the codecpack and mobo-drivers (audio) help.

I always got had feeling it was more of a "Bad version of MPCL in Codecpack" than the drivers.

Atm, things are running smoothly for me here.
