Thread: the BT protocol limited to upload speed?

  1. #1

    Question Mark

i think this is true when the avg peer has a small amount of the torrent completed...

but if the avg peer has >80% it seems that upload speed is not limited.

so is the BT protocol is inherently limited to your upload speed unless the seeder to leecher ratio is at a certain variable?

I'm not sure what your asking but I'll give it a wack.

No limits. If all peers have only 20% and their bandwidth allows it you can download at max even though not uploading a thing.

The only limits are your connection speed and the peers and seeder bandwidth and who's grabing what at any given time.

Does your ISP limit upload speeds? are you connectable?
