I'm just wondering if I shall download this movie:

Is it any good?
Has anyone seen it already and would recommend it?

I must say I didn't hear of it before, but I did a little search on some Dutch sites.

It's a film based on a chlildren's television series broadcasted by the VPRO, the most alternative TV station in the Netherlands.
From what I've read of it, it's very likeable for grown-ups too, as it seems to be very surreel with a lot of absurd dialogues.
It has won the public's Golden Calf (the Dutch Oscars), and knowing the VPRO it must be funny to watch, as they have the reputation of being amongst the producers of the best and most progressive children's programs in the world.

The film is about a madhouse where a monstrous female director causes the 'mad' people to run off and having them to experience the 'normal' world, sounds pretty funny to me, searching for it now...

Problem for you might be finding an English subtitled version, I'll let you know if I find one.

I don't think it's on FastTrack just yet. I managed to find a verified for this movie for the eMule/eDonkey network.
But I think it will spread to FT too, especially if it's a 'good' movie.

Once I manage to download it, I'll post the verified and make possible to people who would be interested in this movie to download it from me.

I still need at least one recommendation though.

Okay here it go's!

I work for a Videostore in Den Haag "Videoland" , and it's a movie version of the serie's on tv. With Waardenberg en de Jong!
About the guy's in the looney house right?? Hhahahaha!

Haven't seen it yet but the costumers seem to like it!

The movie is officially out now in all videostores, so just go there and rent it!
Don't think anyone made a DVD rip yet...

Edit Oh... you are not Dutch right? Didn't see that till now.. Uhm... i don't think anyone will ever make english subs for this one? Hope they do! But if you are not Dutch the movie won't be as funny as i should be!
Those guy's are legends in the Netherlands.. you won't "GET IT" when subbed...
