Thread: install a new game that i just downloaded

    Hey, I just downloaded the full dvd rip of Gundam Seed Never Ending Tomorrow. and i have burned it onto a dvd-r but my chipped ps2 can't recognize the disc. i was wondering if i did anything wrong like burning it or stuff. thx.

    Gotta be more specific, what program did u use? how did u burn it? ect ect....

    i used bitcomet to download the file and used recordnow dx to burn the files as a data disc onto a dvd-r disc.

    Ususally they give you a disk image when you download them. Are you sure you didn't get an .iso file or something like that?

    No, it was a full dvd rip, and the files i got from the download was a system, SLPS_253.89,ZDUMMY.ZZZ, ENVVAR folder, MB folder, and a Modules folder.

    As far as burning it wrong, I am sure it's not your fault. It's a problem with the way they ripped it (most likely).

    oh ic... thanks... then what should i look out for in the future? and if i do find .iso files, what do i do with them?

    If you get an .iso, just open your cd burning software and go to "burn disk image" or something of that nature. They're much more convienient.
