There's a radio campaign just now which says if you fall asleep whilst driving you are 50% more likely to be hurt or killed in a car crash.
Given that it's not that likely when you are awake, then the 50% extra doesn't make a great deal of difference.
So if I get bored while driving I just have a wee snooze.

Maybe it means that if you are the sort of person who falls asleep while driving, your chances of not getting hurt or killed are pretty small in the first place.
