Has anyone found any problems using gmail as a virtual drive. The idea of putting files there and being able to copy and delete through explorer looks good.

IT works mate.. Though when I tried it myself it had some connection problems (I think it was because of my ISP).
But generally use at for a like real real emergency drive.. I mean, what's 1GB going to help you if you have a HD of like 160GB (like in my case), or even 40GB..??

i think it's kinda stupid. i just use filefront.com
unlimited bandwidth and no file size limit, and no storage limit either. it's a file hoster's heaven
mine account is 2.5 gig and i have 2 of them
