all 0s on your ip address info?
all 0s on your ip address info?
no, it should look like this
This shows up when you type -> ipconfig /all <- (wich gives you more info as ipconfig
Hmmm... the dos box keeps closing instantly before I can see it
start-->run-->type there... cmd<enter>
in that box you can run ipconfig /all
If the machine is not connected to a network or the internet it would be normal for it to have an ip address of 0.0.0.0
"I went over to a friend's house the other day. He was having problems with his computer and he asked me to look at it, and I realized he had Windows Me and it's like, oh no—that's your first problem."-Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell.
That's the thing, I have a net connection and in the ethernet/whatever it is you click to connect to the net, I have an ip address.
Only there that I have the all 0s.
how are you connecting to the net? are you sure you're really connected?
err...no I'm not sure.
All I know is that I can download and upload with utorrent.
I can post a reply here.
I can use google
etc. things you can do when connected so I'm assuming I am connected but maybe there's a different type of connection I don't know of.
What does that mean? Being connected wirelessly?
