Okay, i've noticed that all the new games range from 600-800MB per disc, so here comes the newbie part:
How can you fit anything over 700MB on a cdr? can these games only be played on a dvdr instead? i dunno if there is a clever compression technique you use maybe?.
Sorry for sounding new.

But surely 768MB (just an example) won't magically compress to under 700MB when it comes to burning?.

They don't seem to sell 800MB cdr's anymore, not where i live anyway.

If it's a .bin or a .iso then it will usually fit on a 700MB CD fine, even if it's that size.

Sorry for being annoying, but how does that work?
I mean can you fit Enter the Matrix (all 4 cd's), on 4 700MB cdr's?

when u burn to image to a cd it doesnt go by size it goes by minutes. example a 760mb image will take up 76 min a cd ..get it ?....u know the min by the 2 first numbers

To be honest I'm not exactly sure how it works, all I know is that there is some additional information in the file that is not actually burnt on to the CD.
But its definitely true and yeah, each Enter The Matrix file will fit on a normal 700MB CD fine.
