Looks good mate.
In fact i may get this one as im after a standalone dvd player
Btw, anyone know why it has a VGA port and what does it mean?
Ta
it says right in their product description--
"Amazingly, the Arianet also has VGA output, which means you can connect it up to your PC monitor - this opens up a whole new world of viewing opportunites, as you well know..."
i'm not sure why this should have any advantage over simply using an internal dvd player in your pc. and my guess would be that it doesn't.
but... don't some of the more recent high-end televisions now have VGA inputs so that you can use them as computer monitors? connecting a dvd player to a big LCD television by VGA would probably yield a sweet looking picture.

Yeah i read the "Amazingly, the Arianet also has VGA output, which means you can connect it up to your PC monitor - this opens up a whole new world of viewing opportunites, as you well know..." BUT i didn't well know!
Now i do tho and like you say no real improvement gained if you already
have a internal dvd player present.
