Hello all, i have taxi and would like to add the english subtitles to it, but i dont know how! Can someone kindly explain how to????

have u already got the subtitles?
if so go to VCD Help and have a look
good site for encoding and stuff
u can also jus watch it in BSplayer and open the subtitle file too

Install a player like BSPlayer or vobsub to be able to see your movie with subtitle.
First rename the movie and the subtitle to same filename example..:
Matrix.avi
Matrix.srt
...and put them in the same folder.
If you use BSPlayer,then it will automatic display the subtitles,if you use vobsub,then you can get the subtitle to work on most players.

VobSub can also add subtitle support to Windows Media Player.

Is it also possible to add the subtitles permanently to the videofile???
If so, how does one do that?

Then you have to reencode the movie and will lose picture quality so its better to not doing it

i'd like to burn the movie to DVD along with the subtitles. how can i do this?
