the main riff in blitzkrieg bop is pretty easily played and used in alot of songs.
I can't seem to find this song yet
but If i see it I'll give it a listen
i was waiting for gutter to answer this and finally he did
sorry i was late fellas
at the beginning of humble gods it says "hey yo, lets go" but it sounds slightly different to the blitzkrieg bop. then richter (i think) says "deedee you motherfucker you still owe me $300 for weed so i aint paying for that god-damn sample, rest in peace my brother"
the riff is very similar.
i downloaded it from suburbannoizerecords.com as a sampler. if it isnt up i'll soulseek it tonight if you want it. B)
edit: the mp3
grabbing the mp3
i was about to post the link to the mp3 aswell
well after listening to it I'd say it's not a sample it just the band playing the intro from Blitz
thats what confused me. why?Originally posted by Gutter@27 November 2003 - 15:03

i thought it might have been i different version or something, but i trust you know better than me. i only realised after playing thps3 at a mates house
starting a familiar song then leading into a different song is a gag most bands pull during live shows. Nirvana did it at an MTV show by starting out with "Rape Me" then changing to "smells like teen spirit"
and of course me first and the gimme gimmes do it at the begining of a few of their songs.
in this song it seems to have been a way to send a message to deedee ramone
