i recently uninstalled/reinstalled windows and in doing so, my documents are not accesible. Please help-i need important documents

What type of computer do you have! Because if it's a dell just go back and undo and new changes, then copy your docs. and proceed to reinstalling your program.

i remember something to do with this before, what os are you using, if its 2k or xp it could be to do with permissions

right click on the offending folder and go to properties, and look for something called permissions
