Help me! I've been trying for ages to find a decent program to split 2 movies which I downloaded from Kazaa. I have both MPG & Avi. Is there anything easy to split them up and then I can burn it to a cd?

Vdub splits AVI,s in minutes
Vcd cutter for mpegs
but as Stupidguy says if you want to burn them to cd tmpgenc to decode, but still use Vdub to split first you get less audio problems than if you split with Tmpgenc.
Cheers

I have always used TMPGEnc but was having problems with it a few days ago. Downloaded DVTool which seems to work OK.
