WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was not sure were to post this
i have a laptop with wireless capabilities and im trying to connect using my secured network and it keeps sking me for my passkey and after i put it in it say that windows its wating for network and then it does not connect at all.
i was able to connect before when it was unsecure and i really need to connect to the internet with the laptop

is this your network or another network in your area?
Did you type the password in correctly? I'd check what the password is again in the wireless router's config page and try again. Also, rebooting might help, too.

check the passkey is correct,
check the encrytion ur using it set correctly,
check ur ssid and network name.
Check that windows firewall isnt being a bitch (turn the thing off) and finally sounds daft but if ur using protowall check that when u try to connect it doesnt flash red as there is some ip ranges in the lists that can block local networks and poss wireless networks
reboot
ru using a 3rd party program to connect or the windows network wizard?
Shut that cunt’s mouth or I’ll come over there and fuckstart her head.

i fixed it, the Authentication Type option was set incorrectly
