I just got high speed but whenever i connect emule through the default port or any port, i always get a message that the selected port is not reachable. Sometimes it does connect but i get a low id.

Xp with the XP firewall? get rid of it and try again

tried it without the firewall?

could you get a high id before? do you use a router or on a lan?
maybe your computer is busy doing something else, it makes it difficult to connect properly to servers.
No, i am not on a router or lan. I used to get a High ID when i was on dial up but now on high speed,i get a Low ID
have you tried with a different version of emule.
-enable safe connect if you havent already.
Is there anything you changed that is different?.
Could it be an ISP issue, they may have blocked the ports?
Emule High ID helpPutting checks beside Use smart LowID check on connect and Safe Connect in Preferences>Server should help correct a low ID problem.
