Ask your employers for a P46 form, fill it in to the effect that your current job (with them) is your main job and take it direct to their accounts dept. That should sort the BR tax rate out - and get you a nice refund of the tax you've overpaid since you started.

I got horribly drunk yesterday but luckily it was on a mini-bus where smoking wasn't allowed

So I didn't smoke at all, and haven't since Sunday night. FA Cup final day on Saturday tho' and I'm off to a pub-type environment Friday with teh missus to watch some Bill Hicks tribute thing - she won't let me smoke but I bet some cunt of a mate will keep offering me ciggies til I accept on Saturday
