i also use the mac osx theme but my thumbnail folders look like this
is this what you want?

Well, I'm searching for the location of that "hidden" icon behind the thumbnails.
Same goes for that blasted "CD Cursor" Xp uses when you put a cd in. It's missing from the mouse settings.. heh, bill was too lazy.

if you know how to use reshacker then it should be easy
if not search a quiky tutorial using reshacker
the thumbnail icon is located in shell32.dll
in icon group
27
and 28
you can change it to whatever you want.
as for the cd cursor youll have to open up acouple of dlll & exe found in system32 folder and look through the "cursor" strings to locate it.
generally the basic xp icons are found in
explorer.exe
shell32.dll
msgina.dll

Reshacker appears to delete the whole set of folder icons instead of just the thumbnail one. Odd, so I wonder if there's some other software that might make it easier.
It also seems to convert the whole shell32 maybe, I didn't save it because I feared it might screw things up.

reshacker normally makes a backup of whatever file you change.
i use exescope as a reshacker also - its easier with icons etc
