I havent got one but don't you just connect it to the computer and drag n drop the songs as you would to an ordainary MP3 player
All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.
Yeah thats why iPods aren't so great, you can't just drag and drop. You have to install iTunes to put songs on your iPod. You have to 'sync' your iPod... or some crap like that.
iTunes.
And the songs have to be DRM protected or something to be in the ipod?!
u have to use itunes to sync ur songs. it doesn't have to have drm, so yes u can download all u want. but the shit u get off itunes will have drm. this is why iriver pwns ipooo. when hooked up, it acts as an external drive. it shows up in my computer. u just copy stuff over, organize into folders, and u can either browse by folders or use the id3 tag thing

And you can get a plugin for winamp to sync your library to the ipod
Drag and drop > Syncing your songs with iTunes/Winamp
You can either enable your ipod for hard drive use which means you can drag and drop from the hard drive, or as most people do it's simply synced to their iTunes library which means everytime you plug your ipod in everything it will be updated to be the same as your iTunes library.
to put mp3 onto an ipod, you can drag and drop...
all you gotta do is uncheck the automatically sync with itunes library in the ipod settings... this will unlock the ipod and let you manually update the songs..
*listening to ipod right now*

You could use many third party programs to transfer music.
