    HR means High Resolution.. i dont think so
    it means Half Resolution 1080/2 is 544 hense 540 torrents
    do the math

    You're wrong. HR does mean high resolution because HR releases are not always half 1080i resolution.
    FOX and ABC broadcast in 720p and still the 540p scene releases of Prison Break and Lost have the HR tag.
    Also, it is High Resolution because the resolution is higher than standard HDTV scene releases.

    tvtorrents seem to have both "standard" hdtv and "HR" encodings. Scene sites are less consistent, but I've seen them on scene sites as well. (RevTT, SCC, etc)

    BitmeTV also has them in the tasty 720p...like a HR.HR.HDTV.
