How far away is the receiver from the router?

Is it going through empty halls, or solid concrete?

Does it work when they're 2, 5 and 10 metres apart?

Do you have a decent looking sister that also lives in London?

Have you tried making sure that both appliances work before "installing" them?

I've got my laptop about five metres from router, with nothing in the way. I can connect to the router, but the router doesn't connect to the internet, it worked when we first got it for about a day then stopped.
I don't have a sister, is this going to mean the router won't work? LOL

    EDIT: Typo

Moral of this story is update the software/firmware or drivers before looking to see whats broke, 9/10 times hardware right out the box is generally packed with first edition drivers thats buggy as f@ck glad you got it sorted though you can leave your neighbours connection alone now
BTW may be a bit nieve of me but will he not show up as online on your neighbours pc?
