what OS are u using? maybe you're looking under the PPP adapter and you need to select your nic card from the dropdown to see that ip addy.

for the other question: wirelessly. meaning, are you connected to a wireless network via a wireless card? I thought maybe you were looking at the wrong adapter.

WinIPCFG has seperate selections for different network cards on your computer. you're probably just looking at one that isn't connected to anything, try changing it on the dropdown.

If it really is winipcfg :unsure (windows95/98/me?)
