Help with F.E.A.R

i did the first update, and the game still works fine. but, i havent done second update (latest?), 'cause i just figured the update would probably make the game stop working.

yeah update 1.01 (the very first update) works , but i read on a forum at a torrent site, stating that the developers inmproved the security module (copy protection) in the their latest update.
