Well first off, if your using XP, open up the Task Manager and goto the Networking tab. Now you will see "Network Utilization" at the bottom. This should normally be 0% when your not running any Internet processes such as downloads or loading a webpage. With all your Internet apps closed, if you noticed the "Network Utilization" starts to show a lot of activity, then you may have spyware or some other hidden application that's stealing your bandwidth.

Yeah thats the first place i looked...
but it's extreamly weird because it has no movement in the line...
but when i go online to play it goes crazy...
so what i'm saying is the bandwith is only effected when i'm playing...
i'm stumped...

yep... all of em'
but when i get out of a game and download a file from the net, boom i'm downin it at 50+ kb/s
