BF2 Mod 1.2

I recently just installed the new 1.2 patch for Battlefield 2, and it's like I have a permanent wallhack because I can't see any structures. I can see infantry, vehicles, and things like uav and artillery, but not buildings. It's also a hundred times more laggier with this new patch and it's made the game almost unplayable.

Another friend who plays the game with me is also experiencing lag problems but at least he can see structures.

I was wondering if anyone received problems after installing this new patch and if so, they found a solution for the problem. Thank you in advance.

download the full patch and install it. the incremental wouldn't work for me

You have a Radeon 9000 or 9200?

It's happened to a few other people - a reinstall is worth a try but you might need to wait on a hotfix from Dice.

Yeah the incremental patch didnt work so I downloaded the full thing re-installed all of bf2 but I still receive the same gameplay problems. I do have a radeon 9250 but it was working fine before so I dunno. Maybe this is just a sign for me to spring for a new vid card.

Good guess, but as soon as the problem occurred I used the ati uninstaller to remove every thing ati on my computer. Then I reinstalled the latest vid card driver: catalyst 6.2 but no change.

What other drivers could possibly be affecting my bf2?
