maybe Im strange but I cant sleep in pure silence. I need a fan running year round to sleep. The tornados in my pc would suffice, but I have all of my pcs in a different room, so I sleep with an hepa air cleaner running on high but for the sake of staying on topic, you should never turn that fan off. you may wake up to a fire (exaggerated )

Dont forget on a really hot day you are going to have a high chance of frying your motherboard if you forget to turn on your fan.

I have 4 fans... really loud ones too. 3 high rpm 80mm ones: 2 back and 1 front.
Also another 60mm fan which I found and modded onto the side right on top of the video card and I swear it's the loudest fucker you'll ever hear. All that plus I have my case close to the sleeping side of my bed (it's the only place I can put it with my desk beside my bed). It's so goddamn loud at first you'd think a banshee is attacking when you wake up in the middle of the night...if you can get to sleep first of course. goddamn Ventec fans...
