Whats the deal with the weird "loops" or swishing noises in some songs? Also, sometimes you get like, an operator sound off of a phone. Anyone able to get rid of them?

This is a very well known anti-piracy technique being employed by the production and marketing companies. This method is here to stay, and will probably only get worse.

Any suggestions on how to identify which downloads may be the real McCoy vs. fake or spoofed ones? I have heard bandwidth but am unsure what I should be looking for. Are there any other sites that truly are not infected by the spoofed files?
