There's only one music that should ever be played in funerals, and obviously is one that for you guys to guess should be heard, and understood the history behind it...

    The music is....

    -------

    -------

    -------

    -------

    -------

    -------

    -------

    -------
    A little suspense... :p
    -------

Mozart's Lacrimosa is the only true music made for funerals, the one wich is said to set Mozart working till death, now those of you who knew about it can stop pretending to be surprised, the other ones should *buy* the album right away and hear it remembering the funeral of someone they really miss..

Edit: oh and by the way, the music is one of the most beautifull ever composed, not some kind of "feelings breeder" or "feeling-alive-maker" as the ones we hear today, it is just beautifull and this is just my opinion

Because melodic death metal, by definition (of culture), is something not to be meddled with during funerals....hence the word death metal.

And I said "to each his own" in my last post

I chose last post due to military significance.
No offence, but have you even heard the song? Sigur Ros is in noway, and never has been, Death Metal. I think I might just have to upload it, because I'm very certain you might have it confused for something else.

hehe I wouldn't call it that...but it would be OK for funerals does go on a bit...

the title song from Titanic was a very popular song at funerals, about 5 years ago.. " my heart will go on.."

It's very cliche, but "Dust in the Wind" has always been one of my favorite songs to play on accoustic. So I think I would go with that one.
