I have used Netgear wired/wireless and the features were fairly impressive; certainly more so than the Speedcom thing I had at first.
Linksys and D-Link are also highly regarded and I don't think there's anything to warn against there.
Belkin, on the other hand, is a make I would steer clear of. I've had two wireless NICs that went faulty after a fortnight and a work colleague has a wireless router that has needed replacing. Sure, they give excellent phone support but I'd rather not have to phone them.
