If I tell XP that I have a canadian keyboard it gives me french characters...because all canadians are french speaking.
Atleast this is how it was in windows 98... When I formatted for my first time I chose canadian layout for obvious reasons and that ended up causing a lot of heaedaches until a neighbour told me what to do.

Anyhow, Ross tell it you have an "English UK" keyboard. Then all your problems am be solved in one go.

Rosssss, "£" is Alt+156 on the keypad (not in Firefox tho')
