In answer to your question, I am admin at a general private tracker, and Mod at a couple of e-learning trackers. Been around the scene for a while, but only recently joined here after some of your staff posted at TPG.
Looking forward to the two sites exchanging info and ideas, and looking forward to getting to know my way around this one.
We are not the only two to have come here from TPG to see what's what, and will not be the last of the influx either, I am sure !
So hello to everyone who reads this post.
You'll get to know me - I'm the old grumpy one........ - My grumps are rarely short and are often referred to as wanderbooks. I like to think they are excellent prose, others have other descriptions for them, some unquotable even on an adult site.....

Yeah wtf. What & where is TPG? And step right in to special status.
Maybe TPG is a co-owned site?
I don't know. Whats this about?
Mabye this will shed some light .

Thanks peat moss.
But this makes me sick.
No personal offense to any of them. But F*CK them. They're nobody here. They didn't earn respect here. They haven't helped people here. Give them the title of usurper.
Yes from the few posts I've seen from them, there seems little to set them apart from normal members.
How many of these new members are going to be bumped up (bearing in mind there are a lot of trackers out there)?
Can you not just allow them to have "owner of theirtracker.com" in their sig or something if they have proven they are the owner rather than a separate usergroup?
I don't think it actually means anything does it?
They're not part of the moderating team or have access to team chat do they?
If they want to be in a special club, then that's OK by me, but I think the name "Community Staff" is a nonsense, can't they be "BT Tracker Team" or something more indicative of what they actually are?
I agree with Barbie.
'Community Staff' is completely meaningless as a title.
How about; 'Mod of a poxy tracker that no-one here gives a fuck about'.
Okay, hardly catchy but quite succinct.
It's almost as funny as the forum contributor thing - but it does trump that in the absurdity stakes.
