Ahh curse my alertness (or lack of it). It sounds very dated 'Britain' like it belongs in a history lesson. I'm from the middle of England and everyong here uses the word bloody, in fact its my dad's favorite swear word.

I still consider myself British, although as previously mentioned it is doubtful I have any British blood in me at all. I've lived in England all my life and although the history may not be that of my ancestors, I still consider it pertinent to the culture in which I am immersed, and therefore part of me.
