you use the http:// button above where you type your post, it asks for the url and then the title ie This is not a real linkOriginally posted by JPaul@10 May 2003 - 21:44
How do you do that thing where you post a link to a website but call it something else. Like
This is not a real link

Thanks for that.
VIZ Comic Pages
It's easy when someone tells you.
I just worked it out just then. It's easy when you're a genius
I don't think many people out there will get Viz (i know it's sold worldwide), I mean the bits where it's written in geordie. I'm a geordie and even I find it hard to understand sometimes!

I was just using that as a test. However I think most people will get
Bertie Blunt - His Parrot's a Cunt
or
Mickey's Monkey Spunk Moped
But people should be warned, it's not subtle stuff.

I would take offense but there does seem to be a few of us floating around on here . Which is strange, we must be the only people in Newcastle who can afford computers or something.Originally posted by Bender@10 May 2003 - 22:07

You shouldn't be offended, as you have your own Geordie Mod to defend you.Originally posted by Proper Bo, I tell thee@10 May 2003 - 23:09

Yeah, I saw the northumberland flag and the nufc crest around somewhere, didn't know it was a mod though.
They got a link on their signature tho to a *ahem* "Geordie Dictionary" which has slang in it not used since like 1850
