Why do Americans envy Europeans so much?

i'm pretty envious of earlier games console release dates

I can see that, but is it reason enough to want to be an uncultured, obese, imperialist with delusions of being the World's police and believing wholeheartedly that might is right.

I could see many Americans wanting to go elsewhere like Europe but the country would have to go further downhill.

No, seriously. Almost every culture will envy something about another. You guys have the laxed drug laws, we have pop culture. You guys also get to live like right next door to most of the worlds top designers. Not to mention BMW, Ferrari, Benz, Rolls..... I don't know of this personally but i know that some british envy the americans coz like i remember hearing one of my teachers blabbering on about america in a history lesson and how they took OUR language and spoilt it??? I dont really know the difference but whatever LOL!!!
