Deary deary me... I'm not trying to sound intellectual - this is the way I always speak. You really must do some research before you try to slag someone. I happen to have a fairly extensive vocabulary and I see no reason not to use it.

No, you didn't say that but it is what your were attempting to imply.

Don't put words into other people's mouths. I was making a statement about the phrase in general.
I personally don't approve, but if everyone else is cool with it then I recognize and accept that. It doesn't make my point of view any less valid.
