You do everything you would do on your home pc except thru the server now,
    1. Connect to server form home pc "remotely" "remote desktop connection" start/all programs/accessories/communication/remote desktop connectioncan be use for windows os
    2. browse to torrent site using fox or ie still thru server
    3. download torrent file and save files onto server hard drive
    4. complete downloading files
5 create ftp, "file transfer protocol", back to your pc, uploading from server and downloading to your home pc
    6. un-raring files once you have them all on your home pc or you could unrar the file on the server hard drive and just ftp the complete file back to your pc.

Thought it would be easier if i put it in point form.

For ftp software just search your favorite site

Windows is ussually only like $15 - $20 more a month. Which isnt all that much. Ive even seen a few companies offer windows licences for free.
