That's right but it's only official. I dont believe that if you agree to pay for the monthly server costs then the staff wont give you a vip. I dont know how it looks like on PT but I know that this is how the situation looks like on other major trackers.Actually they are saying, that dotation (no matter how big is it) will NOT give you any priveleges.
Soo.. perhaps you should do a bit more, do be a VIP on PT. Maybe little more engagement on site etc. Don't know.
To conclude - it's not easy to have a VIP there - you must be a very, very special person in staff's eyes...
