It's not illegal. It's their site and they're protecting their bandwidth.if that is true, then what they are doing is very illegal

You know like if you try to access the members' section of a porn site and the prompt pops up (like the one that was in this thread) to ask for a username/password ... well anyway, that's what happens ... they've just protected that part of their site (the pic that was in Chip Monk's sig) from unauthorised access.
