    Slipknot - Danger, Keep Away:

(we too feel alone, we too feel alone...we too feel alone) <-- repeats many times, as whisper
(woman singing in the background slowly fades into her screaming)

    That place in my mind....
Is that space that you call mine....
    That place in my mind....
Is that space that you call mine....

(Joey+Chris+Shawn starts up drums+percussion right now)

Where have I been all this time?
    Lost enslaved, fatal decline
I've been waiting for this to unfold
    But,
The pieces are only as good as the whole
I severed myself from my whole life
I cut off the only thing that was right
What if I never saw you again (drums end at end of this line)
I'd die right next to you in the end

    That place in my mind
Is that space that you call mine
    That place in my mind
Is that space that you call mine

I won't let you walk away,
Without hearing what I have to say.
Without hearing what I have to say.
Without hearing what I have to say....

(que the very sad ending guitar/piano)
Number one on my list right about now. Go download it, and if you're not cheap, buy it. There is a longer version of this song on the special edition cd of Volume 3: Subliminal Versus, but I honestly prefer this one. The other one has a lot of filler in the beginning.

Jeff Loomis: He's so good, he doesn't need to be dead to have a tribute.

EDIT: Ok, listening to it now.I like it.It's pretty good, but rather short as you said.
But I like Corey Taylor's (singer of Slipknot) song "Bother" more.you have that song ?

yup, off of his stone sour cd (his second band), it's a really good song. its easy to learn on guitar trust me . that's why a lot of REALLY GOOD songs are the ones that are simple. check out inhale by stone sour too, its not a slow melodic song, but its still good.

I know.I learned to play "Bother" a year ago or so.It's realy realy simple, but also realy cool.
I already have "Inhale", and even seen the music video clip of it.It's very well made and looks awesome. Also have "Get Inside" from the Stone Sour album.
I love both songs.Listening to "Get Inside" right now.

Corey Taylor/Stone Sour - Bother is pretty depressing, good song.
Then there is Staind, almost all their songs are depressing. Fade, For You, It's Been a While, and Mudshovel are pretty awesome...

Once again, any Katatonia song. Any Doom Metal song for that matter, you don't know what audio melancholy is until you hear it.

    Deadhouse: http://s13.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0...G3OAGXF8Y749ZC

    Somehow better without this
    Headlights fuck the city
    Somewhere I'm broken
    No sensations nevermore

What do you say when you speak
    I sense no time
    Discouraged television sleep
    Not awake until it's dark

    Somehow I never leave
    This deadhouse
Somehow I don't mind being gone
And if you really think you've seen me
    I have to prove you
    That you're wrong
    - - - - - - - - - - -
    Gone:

    ...When I was thinking
    that this was something permanent
    you were already thinking
    of going away.
    - - - - - - - -
    Quiet World:

Four numbers staring back at me
displaying the mediocrity of my presence.
I'm wasting my day, watching them change.

The sun it its blue sky
shining down on all you happy people
I'm wasting my day, waiting for rain.

    I need more methods
    to end each day
if I want to be happy
    living this way.

Jonas Renkse is the best vocalist around and Anders Nystrom is the most emotive guitarist I've ever heard...Too underrated.
