When you watch Star Wars as a kid, you want to be Luke Skywalker.

When you watch Star Wars as a teenager, you want to be Han Solo.

When you watch Star Wars as an adult, you want to be Darth Vader.

I don't know of any other films which appeal to all ages, like those
