Yay!
You guys are like the internet/torrent/modern trust busters like presidents Teddy Roosevelt and Taft. If you aren't familiar, they brought down tons and tons of big trusts that were disrupting the American economy and capitalism in general in the early 1900s..
Keep busting those cheaters and traders!
No Whining
LOL.. that doesn't sound like you are doing a great job as staff here either Skizo. How you are treated personally at a tracker should have nothing to do with how you treat someone here as a staff member.. should it?
Oh wait I forgot... FST removed the word "fair" from its dictionary a while back.
Forgive me for not having any idea what your particular situation consisted of. One person's actions shouldn't hold all the others accountable. Would you mind PM'ing me what happened? Maybe have a talk, longhorn to longhorn? I'm sure there are many people who can vouch for me when I say I do care quite a bit about the users on that site, even those who don't exactly treat me with much respect.
My PM box is always open. You haven't exactly been the friendliest person with me thus far, but I'd be more than happy to start fresh if you're up to it.
"Either"? Where else am I staff?
How I'm treated at trackers has a direct impact on how I treat their staff when they come to FST. I was recently banned a "high level" tracker for being FST staff. Two days later I received a PM from them asking me to please not allow trading to occur which involved their tracker. What do you think my response was? Courtesy, compliance, a cordial reply?
I told the sender he had some nerve sending a request of any kind after the way they treat FST members there, and that if they wanted me to even consider a request like that, they could change their attitude for starters.
Thinking that I would forget how I was treated on a tracker as soon as I logged off and be congenial here at FST is absurd and unrealistic.
To be quite honest, they all have one strike with me going in. I rarely come in contact with a staff member on any tracker who doesn't suffer from some sort of "Napoleon" complex. No one likes going to these IRC channels, as they feel the need to walk on eggshells whilst there.
I'm also fairly certain that your 199 posts doesn't give you enough seniority nor experience here to judge our fairness. If you don't like it here, by all means, move along.
I'll shoot you a PM later tonight.
