My first tatt was a mix of pure impulse and something to do for a larf while a friend got his tongue pierced. I think a bit of peer pressure may have been involved too.
Me Ma got Thumper on her thigh a few years after I had me first ones done.
It looks ghey as.

I reckon something everyone who gets a tat or a piercing should do, is to try and imagine themselves twenty or thirty years from now, and how it's going to fit them then.
Having worked at a hospital and stuff, I know exactly how silly what must have been a really cool tat once upon a time might look on an old lady, or bloke.
Preferably before getting it done, liek.
I'll be impressed if I can bend my head round that far in 30 yrs.
